2026-2027 Enrollment Update
The Open Enrollment window for 2026-2027 closed on March 22, 2026. Our lottery was held on Thursday, March 26, at 1:00 PM at Sacramento Creek Ranch. Families who applied during the Open Enrollment Window received a notification of their acceptance or waitlist status by email shortly after the lottery.
Still want to apply? We encourage it. HRCS is actively monitoring enrollment demand as part of our planning for a potential second campus in Park County or surrounding areas. Applications submitted now will be placed on the waitlist by date of application — and strong waitlist numbers are a direct factor in our decision to open a second site and additional enrollment window. Exciting News!
High Rockies Community School is planning to open a second campus for the 2026-2027 school year in Park County or surrounding areas. Final enrollment numbers, grade levels, and the exact location are still being finalized. You can find out more information here.

Current Program Availability
We have reached capacity for both our full time program and our Homeschool Enrichment Program for the current school year (2025-2026). If you’d like to get on our waitlist should spots open midyear, please click Apply Here.
Re-Enrollment for Current HRCS Families
Each winter, families of currently enrolled students are invited to participate in Re-Enrollment, which helps HRCS plan for the upcoming school year. During the re-enrollment window, current families complete a brief survey indicating whether they intend to commit to a seat for the following school year.
Re-enrollment occurs before Open Enrollment lotteries and allows the school to determine how many seats remain available for new students. Families who do not complete the re-enrollment survey by the stated deadline may forfeit their priority status for the upcoming year.

Admissions Timeline for the 2026-2027 School Year
The 2026-2027 Open Enrollment window for the Sacramento Creek Ranch K-8 Program closed March 22, 2026. The Open Enrollment window for the new Preschool program at Sacramento Creek Ranch will close on May 3, 2026. We encourage families to still submit an application to be added to the waitlist by date of application. Waitlist demand is actively informing HRCS’s planning for a potential second campus — if a second enrollment window opens, waitlisted families will be among the first notified. Questions? Open Enrollment Window 1: December 8, 2025 – March 22, 2026
- Dec. 15, 2025 – K-8 and Preschool Open Enrollment begins
- Feb. 1, 2026 – Re-enrollment Window opens for existing students
- Feb. 15, 2026 – Re-enrollment Window closes
- Mar. 22, 2026 – K-8 Open Enrollment closes.
- Mar. 26, 2026 – K-8 Lottery (1:00 PM, Sacramento Creek Ranch) — Notifications sent via email same day (Homeschool Enrichment lottery will occur in late Spring)
- May 3, 2026 – Preschool Open Enrollment Window closes
- May 4, 2026 – Preschool Lottery
- May 7-10, 2026 – Preschool families confirm and accept spot
- Waitlist applications accepted on a rolling basis
