Kip Otteson
I am a Colorado educator with a passion for helping students learn through hands-on experiences, outdoor exploration, and meaningful connections with the natural world. Throughout my career, I’ve believed that some of the most valuable lessons happen beyond the classroom, where students can build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a sense of curiosity through real-world experiences.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy backpacking, camping, sailing, and exploring Colorado’s mountains and the waters of the Pacific Northwest. I’m excited to become part of the High Rockies Community School community and look forward to helping students develop a lifelong love of learning and adventure.
