2026-27 Enrollment Update
HRCS is enrolling across two campuses for the 2026-2027 school year: Sacramento Creek Ranch and our new Alma site.
Alma
Open Enrollment for the Alma K-8 program and the Homeschool Enrichment Program closes June 9, 2026. The lottery will be held June 10 at 1:00 PM at Sacramento Creek Ranch, with notifications sent by email the same day.

Sacramento Creek Ranch
The Open Enrollment window for Sacramento Creek Ranch for 2026-2027 closed on March 22, 2026. Our lottery was held on Thursday, March 26, at 1:00 PM. Families who applied during the Open Enrollment Window received a notification of their acceptance or waitlist status by email shortly after the lottery.
We do have a few spots remaining in our Preschool program!
Still want to apply? We encourage it. HRCS is actively monitoring enrollment demand as part of our planning for the opening of a second campus in Alma. Applications submitted now will be placed on the waitlist by date of application, and strong waitlist numbers are a direct factor in our decision to open an Alma site and additional enrollment window. Summit County | Coming 2027-2028
HRCS is pursuing authorization to open a K-8 site in Summit County for the 2027-2028 school year. If you’re interested, submit our 2027-28 Enrollment Interest Form. Interest form numbers directly inform our planning and authorization process — the more families who sign up, the stronger the case.

Admissions Timeline for the 2026-2027 School Year
The 2026-2027 Open Enrollment window for the Sacramento Creek Ranch K-8 Program closed March 22, 2026. The Open Enrollment window for the new Preschool program at Sacramento Creek Ranch closed on May 3, 2026. The Open Enrollment window for the new Alma site and our Homeschool Enrichment Program closes June 9, 2026. We encourage families to still submit an application to be added to the waitlist by date of application. Waitlist demand is actively informing HRCS’s planning for additional campuses — if a second enrollment window opens, waitlisted families will be among the first notified. Questions? - Feb. 1, 2026 – SCR Re-enrollment Window opens for existing students
- Feb. 15, 2026 – SCR Re-enrollment Window closes
- Mar. 22, 2026 – SCR K-8 Open Enrollment closes.
- Mar. 26, 2026 – SCR K-8 Lottery (1:00 PM, Sacramento Creek Ranch) — Notifications sent via email same day (Homeschool Enrichment lottery will occur in late Spring)
- May 3, 2026 – SCR Preschool Open Enrollment Window closed
- May 4, 2026 – SCR Preschool Lottery
- May 7-10, 2026 – SCR Preschool families confirm and accept spot
- June 9, 2026 – Alma & HSE Open Enrollment Closes
- June 10, 2026 – Alma and HSE Lottery (1:00pm PM, Sacramento Creek Ranch) — Notifications sent via email same day
- Waitlist applications accepted on a rolling basis
