Get ready to lace up your shoes, grab your llama, and head to the starting line for Llama Rama 2025! With this year’s theme—School House Rock: Don’t Skip a Beat—we’re bringing big energy and even bigger heart to Colorado’s longest-running organ and tissue donation awareness event.

Proudly founded by Rocky Mountain Rural Health, the torch has now been passed to High Rockies Community School (HRCS), who is continuing the mission through this beloved event and now an exciting fundraiser to build a new community school facility.

The transformation of a historic barn at Sacramento Creek Ranch into a flexible, multi-use indoor learning space—thanks to HRCS and our partners at Mountain Area Land Trust (MALT)

HRCS is a tuition-free public charter school focused on individualized, multi-age education rooted in outdoor exploration. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, 100% of Llama Rama proceeds go directly toward building our new school. Learn more at highrockiescommunityschool.org.

About the Race:

Now in its 26th year, Llama Rama is a whimsical, wacky, and wildly fun race where teams of 4 plus 1 llama compete on a 2.1-mile course filled with trails, creek crossings, and contagious laughter. Whether you’re racing to win or just in it for the fun, this event promises unforgettable memories.
