Hourly Rate: $19–$25/hr
Schedule: Mon–Thurs, 8:00–4:00 (4-day school week)
Start Date: December 2025

High Rockies Community School (HRCS) is an outdoor, place-based K–8 charter school opening in Fall 2025. We are seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with IEPs, 504s, and diverse learning needs in our multi-age, mostly outdoor learning environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support K–8 students across classroom, outdoor, and experiential settings

• Provide accommodations, small-group and 1:1 support, and SEL/behavioral assistance

• Help implement IEP/504 goals and track progress

• Support inclusive participation in hikes, field studies, and hands-on learning

• Collaborate with the SPED Provider, Lead Teachers, and school leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children (school, camp, childcare, youth programs)

• Belief in the potential of every learner and commitment to inclusion

• Comfort working outdoors in all seasons

• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork

• Preferred: experience supporting students with disabilities or familiarity with IEPs/504s
